The Bled island and the Gothic church of the Assumption
It was where a temple of the ancient Slavic goddess of love Živa used to stand. The must see is of course is also the 99 stone-step staircase and do ring the wishing bell :)

The traditional Pletna boat

Solely operated by a Pletna oarsman, this transportation which dates back to 1590 provides you a memorable experience on the Lake Bled. Just for a maximum of 20 people, you can try this boat at the Rowing Centre Bled.

This wooden flat-bottom boat with very colourful awning can be seen and spotted from Spa Park, in Mlino and under the Park Hotel Bled. Propelled with the "stehrudder technique" (standing oarsman rowing with 2 oars).
